About Greg T
I’ve spent the last two decades building, scaling, and transforming ventures across the globe, from scrappy startups to Fortune 500 giants, working across Asia, APAC, South Africa, Kazakhstan, the US, UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
In my early 20s, I launched and exited Brand Soldiers, a marketing agency that taught me the grind of building from zero. Soon after, I founded Grouperks, an insurance benefits platform for Small Business in South Africa. It was pioneering but tough, and ultimately not a success. That struggle shaped how I approach scale, resilience, and the design and leadership of business operations and teams today.
From there, I dove into Asia’s fast-growth startup scene, helping scale everything from investment platforms to e-commerce solutions. That work opened doors to corporates and high-profile, venture capital backed ventures in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Indonesia, where I was trusted to design, install, and scale the team systems that power execution at speed.
My consulting journey expanded further into global banks, leading retailers, and oil and gas majors, from boardrooms in London and Chicago to oil fields in Kazakhstan, factories in Malaysia, and retail networks across Asia Pacific, where I worked side by side with leaders and teams to rewire how they operate and stay ahead in a rapidly changing world.
Across all these experiences, I’ve helped leaders and teams navigate the hardest parts of the journey: achieving product market fit, scaling beyond the founder’s shadow, building resilient teams, and installing the operating mechanics that sustain growth.
Today, as creator of the RACE™ Operating System, I’ve distilled 20+ years of wins, failures, and lessons into a practical framework any founder, startup, or scale-up can use to compete and win against the best in the world.
